Rotherham take Doyley on trial

Rotherham United have taken former Watford defender on trial, .

The thirty-three year old has been without a club since leaving Vicarage Road in the summer, and will attempt to earn a deal with the Millers, having played ninety minutes for them in a reserve game against Scunthorpe United on Wednesday.

Doyley has only ever played for the Hornets, racking up four-hundred and forty-three appearances in all competitions, scoring just two goals.

Internationally, he has won nine caps for Jamaica, having made his debut for them in a 2-0 defeat to Costa Rica in March 2013.

Rotherham, who recently appointed Neil Warnock as manager, sit in twenty-second place in the second tier having taken just twenty-six points from their thirty-one games so far this season.

They are currently on a five game winless run, and next face a trip to promotion chasing Burnley with .
